Okay so first let me start off by introducing myself! My name is Brittany and I tried to do this whole blog thing last fall, but I just never kept up with it. So now that I'm currently not working as much as I used to so I need something to take up my time, hence why I'm doing this :)
I'm going to review the new L'oreal 360 Clean Cleanser. My skin type is really strange actually, dry, oily, but not usually prone to blemishes. Every once in awhile I'll get a couple, but that's it. When I was younger I had extremely sensitive skin, and even now it gets irritated if I use the wrong products. So that's why I decided on the facial cleanser for sensitive skin.
This product comes in 4 different formulations; a facial cleanser, a facial cleanser for sensitive skin, a cream cleanser, and an exfoliating scrub. There were so many things that I thought were neat about this cleanser. A little scrublet that fits INSIDE the cleanser bottle?! I needed that! As it turns out, no I didn't. The concept is nice, you take a little bit of product and lather it up and put it on your face, and then you take the scrublet and gently rub it all over your face. This was suppose to "unclog pores as it removes oil, dirt and makeup". The first time I used it, I thought "Wow! This is so cool! My face is getting SO clean right now!" Maybe it was clean but it was also making me break out. The blemishes didn't show up at first but within the next few days of using the product twice daily, they did. I thought maybe it was just happening because sometimes blemishes just show up like that, so I continued to use the cleanser. By doing that, my face just got worse. The blemishes weren't bad but for my skin, it was abnormal because it doesn't usually break out like that. So I'm going to discontinue my use of it for now.
I'm thinking that maybe because it's winter and my skin is already putting up with a lot of harshness, the cleanser was just adding to it, but other cleansers that I've used haven't done this. Even one's that aren't directed towards sensitive skin like this one was. Maybe I'll try it in the summer time when the weather isn't such a large factor on how my skin looks. I really wanted to believe in this product but I would stick to something Neutrogena or Aveeno if you're worried about your sensitive skin.
I hope this helped you and maybe you'll save $7 =)
Sorry L'oreal!
Here's the ingredients. I see that it says fragrance as the last ingredient, but mine said fragrance free? Maybe they add it anyway... I don't know how all that stuff works?!
